What arguments does Macbeth say should make
him NOT kill the king?
He is afraid of what kind of man he will become if he
kills the king AND what his wife will do if he kills the
king.
Duncan is a good king AND a genuinely good man.
Duncan is his cousin and his king AND Macbeth is the
host and therefore sworn to protect the king in his
house.
He doesn't know if the witches are causing this to
happen AND he doesn't know if he's being manipulated.
