Assignment Background: In Chapter 10 (in class and in the textbook) you studied organization culture and what makes the organization culture. The purpose of this assignment is to connect theory that has been studied and put it into practice. Assignment Details: 1. Students are to choose one company of their choice (within Canada \& US), write the name of the organization and in 3 or 4 sentences explain your organization in your own words. (DO NOT COPY AND PASTE FROM COMPANIES WEBSITE) 2. Then research on their choice of company's website and based on their finding, answer the following questions: a. "What type of dominant culture" do you think this organization has? Please explain your choice. b. What do you think some of their "subcultures" are? Name at least three. c. Locate the items stated below (Online). These items each reflect aspects of a particular organizational culture of the organization of your choice. (Minimum one example/item for each) - After locating the relative item for each of the following artifacts you need to explain briefly; what they stand for and - What is their effect on job seekers or hiring candidates? (Only in two or three sentences max, there will be mark deduction of more than 3 sentences)
You are welcome to copy the logo (symbols) of the company of your choice in your paper, but you need to explain it.
