Project Description: You will create and present a PowerPoint on an ecosystem of your choice. The presentation must include:

biome information
typical food web
keystone species
number pyramid
biomass pyramid
carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorous cycles
hypothetical analysis of human impact and the changes that would occur
This presentation should be filled with plenty of pictures and diagrams. Written information should be presented in short, concise statements in bullet format. It may be helpful to use an online diagram maker.

Biomes

For this activity, you will research and create the following steps for your ecosystem presentation.

1 — Choose a biome.

2 — Choose a specific ecosystem in that biome. For example, you may choose the savanna biome. The specific ecosystem you choose may be Krueger Park in South Africa.

3 — Create temperature and precipitation graphs for your ecosystem.

4 — Identify and show pictures of the major plant and animal species of your ecosystem. Show common adaptations as appropriate.
