A current sinking circuit, which drives a LED is described as following:
- A DIP switch is used to cut off the current to the transistor’s base.
- The maximum forward current for the LED is 20mA and barrier potential is 3V (better to get this value from previous lab(s)).
- Single power supply voltage of 15V DC is connected to collector.
- Apply 5V DC to the base terminal of transistor.
