There are other authorities that are recognized throughout the DOD although they are not captured in doctrine but are delegated from a commander with the proper authority. These authorities are:

a) COCOM, OPCON, TACON, and DIRLAUTH
b) Planning, Launch, Execute, and Termination
c) General, Mutual, Direct, and Close
d) COCOM, OPCON, Execute, and Termination
