You leave the meeting having no idea how you'll raise $10,000 to sponsor a small town's men's rugby team. You approach Amira in the parking lot just as she's opening her car door. "Tough break," she says. "Your boss really gave you a tough assignment." You respond, "I know. Do you have any idea how I'm going to raise that much cash? You must have some strong sponsorships since your team won most of the games last season." She smiles and says, "Oh, I couldn't tell you my secrets!" She gets into her car. "Give me a call about those stocks I want to sell, would you?"

As Amira drives off, you make a note to call her later about the stocks. She's not your biggest client, but every client is important to you. Was Amira displaying leadership or power in your conversation?
