Is the bridge (in bold) strong or weak?
On the roads, twenty is a magic number: drivers over
age twenty get into half as many accidents as their
teenage counterparts. The lower rate of accidents
among twenty-year-olds suggests that
teenagers may lack the maturity or judgment
to drive safely. If Americans under twenty
were forced to wait to get their licenses, the
roads would be safer for all drivers. For this
reason, the US government should raise the driving
age to twenty years old.
