Criteria: -Student devoted a lot of time and effort to the writing process and worked hard to make the poem a good read. The poem has no errors.
-The poem has a title that clearly relates to the poem and adds interest to the theme or message of the poem

texts in terms of the information, ideas, issues, or themes they explore, examining how various aspects of the texts contribute to the presentation or development of these elements
-expertly uses appropriate words, phrases, and terminology, and several different stylistic devices, to communicate their meaning and engage their intended audience
-always or almost always communicates in a clear, coherent manner appropriate to the purpose, subject matter, and intended audience
-The final draft of the poem is readable, clean, neat and attractive. It is free of erasures and crossed-out words. It looks like the author took great pride in it.
-uses grammar conventions correctly to communicate their intended meaning clearly with outstanding success
