Instructions:
In the end, everything should be connected to something, and you should have one big organic whole. In theory, I should be able to give you a term (say, QIN SHIHUANGDI) and you should be able to build your structure from there without reference to notes--and explain each connection, one at a time.
To make this exercise useful, I suggest starting with one single, solitary term (it doesn't matter which). Now that you've picked your first Term, follow these three steps:
(1) Do you know what it is? If not, look it up. Once you know what it is...
(2) ...look at the list and find one more single term that you can connect to it. Do you know what this second term is? If you do...
(3) explain the connection between the two terms. This explanation could be one word or a short paragraph--as long as you communicate the connection clearly. At this point, go back to step 2 and repeat until you've built your Structure.
