This discussion asks you to think about the idea of plagiarism and to review Post University’s Academic Integrity Policy, which can be found in this Unit's Readings and Resources.
Initial Response: Here are several best practices to avoid a violation of the Academic Integrity Policy. Choose ONE of the best practices listed below, or go into the Academic Integrity Policy and select your own. Reflect on how you will work to avoid the violation in your assignments.
Submit work that is your original product, either in part or whole.
Avoid purchasing and/or downloading past and current University course materials from sources (e.g., tutoring websites).
Give proper credit when presenting the words, ideas, data, images, videos, or other original materials of others.
Properly use and cite with in-text citations and references any material obtained by Generative Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT, DALL.E, Bard, etc.).
Avoid self-plagiarizing by checking with the current instructor before submitting previously submitted work.
Peer Response: In your responses, consider the choice your classmate made. Share your thoughts and ideas about it and expand your reply with any ideas they might have missed.
