The answer is: judging the length of lines
In Asch's experiment on conformity , participants are gathered to judge which lines are the shortest among several options.
The experiments than included actors to intentionally provide wrong answers. The experiments shows that in the presence of other people who give wrong answers, subjects are much more likely to conform to other people's opinion and choose the wrong lines for the answer.
