The first thing we are going to do ti graph our inequality is solve for [tex]y[/tex]:
[tex]-5x+2y\ \textgreater \ 6[/tex]
[tex]2y\ \textgreater \ 5x+6[/tex]
[tex]y\ \textgreater \ \frac{5}{2} x+ \frac{6}{2} [/tex]
[tex]y\ \textgreater \ \frac{5}{2} x+3[/tex]

Since [tex]y[/tex] has to be bigger than [tex]\frac{5}{2} x+3 [/tex], the graph of our inequality will be all the points to the left of the line [tex]y=\frac{5}{2} x+3[/tex]

We can conclude that the graph of the inequality [tex]-5x+2y\ \textgreater \ 6[/tex] is:
