The surface of the earth changes. Some changes are due to slow processes, such as erosion and weathering, and some changes are due to rapid processes, such as landslides, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes.


Earth's surface features indicate changes over time through various

occurrences such weathering, volcanic eruptions , earthquakes etc.

The Earth surface comprises of biotic(living) and abiotic(non living)

component. These components bring about changes in the earth's surface

which may happen instantly or over a long period of time.

Some changes are instant such as erosion which involves washing away of

the outermost layer of the soil while some take a while to occur such as

volcanic eruptions etc.
