Using the trigonometry ratio, we could find the length of BC by sin ratio
[tex] \dfrac{opposite}{hypotenuse} [/tex] = sin α
[tex] \dfrac{BC}{AC} [/tex] = sin A
plug in the numbers
[tex] \dfrac{BC}{6 \sqrt2} } [/tex] = sin 45°
BC = sin 45° × 6√2
BC = 1/2√2 × 6√2
BC = 6

Using cos ratio, we could find the value of x
[tex] \dfrac{adjacent}{hypotenuse} [/tex] = cos α
[tex] \dfrac{x}{BC} [/tex] = cos 60°
[tex] \dfrac{x}{6} [/tex] = 1/2
x = 1/2 × 6
x = 3

The value of x is 3
