The temperature influences the appearance of a star because it affects the color of the star. For instance, the hottest stars tend to be white or blue and range from 6,000 - 7,500 K. The coolest stars are red and tend to be under 3,500k.
it can greatly affect the color and size. our sun is 5,778 K and is a yellow color. whereas R136a1 is the most luminous and is a blue color. there is a drastic difference in how the stars will go off based on temperature because a hotter star would be able to burn more elements, and eventually, that will lead to a more brutal death
