Please help! I will make brainliest! I need to know this for a project!

The theme park is building a scale model of the the killer whale tank for an investor's presentation. Each dimension will be made 6 times smaller to accommodate the scale model in the presentation room. If the radius of the original tank is 70 feet, and the original volume of the tank is 359,007 ft^3, How many times smaller than the actual volume is the scale model?

Note: the tank is in the shape of a quarter sphere (Volume of a sphere / 4 = the total volume of the quarter sphere) and the formula for volume of a sphere is 4/3 x 3.14 x r^2.

I got this:

V=1/4 (4/3 x 3.14 x 70³)

V= 1/4 (4 14/75 x 343,000)

v= 1/4 (1,436,026,667)

V=359,006.6666666 (repeating)


the tanks shape is 1/4 of a sphere so we use the sphere for,una and multiply by 1/4.

you can multiply the ACTUAL volume by (1/6)³ to get the volume of the Scale model


HINT; the volume of the actual tank is 359,006.6
