Sublimation is the change of state from a solid to gas, or liquid to solid on cooling. The type of mixtures that can be separated by means of sublimation, are mixtures of solids; (e.g. Sodium Chloride, and Ammonium Chloride.).

Hope that helps!!!
Mixtures of solids.

Sublimation is the process of changing a substance directly from solid to gas or gas to solid. When a mixture of solids is separated by sublimation, only one of the substances in the mixture sublimes. Examples of substances that sublime include dry ice, ammonium chloride, and iodine.
