The length is 8 and the width is 4

P = L + L + W + W
P = 8 + 8 + 4 + 4
P = 16 + 4 + 4
P = 16 + 8
P = 24

L=4w
2l+4w=24

We can plug in our L value and solve for w in the second equation.

2(4w)+2w=24
8w+2w=24
10w=24
w=2.4

Our width is 2.4 meters.
