Simon is religious and can be seen as saintly and better than the later feuding tribes: description of his eyes is "so bright they had deceived Ralph into thinking him delightfully gay and wicked. " showing that he is light and not overcome by darkness.
Very Knowledgeable and could be seen as prophesying in the book when he says " you get back to where you came from" to ralph.
Seen as a helper for the littleuns as he picks fruit seen as a leader by them which is his demise when he dies later in the book, and that the older ones hind him weird when he goes off to his hiding spot in the jungle. (include a quote to show he is weird.)
