I NEED HELP!!!

I just got a hoverboard on Christmas, I rode it every day, then I lost the charger and like 1 or 2 months later I found it nicely tucked in the charger cabinet, I plugged it in and let it charge for 3 hrs once I unplugged it to shut off and wouldn't turn on I plugged it back in and realised that the little circle light on the hoverboard wasn't turning on to tell me it's charging also the light on the charger wasn't turning red.

to this day it's still doing the same thing and I really want to fix it and I don't know how has this ever happend to u before can you tell me whats wrong??
