You might think about A as your other choice. The silent flute (shared love of music) suggests that. The last stanza is the very core of what she wishes were still true and what she remembers as being best in their relationship. I'd pick A.

The last one E is as close as any. Lyrics are usually told in the first person and this one does that. The emotions are first person. The rhyme is simple (also a lyric characteristic). I'd pick E.
