If you want to translate f(x) or down k units, it's f(x)+k. If you want to move it to the left k units it's f(x+k) so A is:

[tex] x^3+3 [/tex]

and B is:

[tex] (x+2)^2-3=x^2+4x+4-3=x^2+4x+1 [/tex]
