Slope intercept form is

y = mx+b,

y-intercept b= -2,

slope can be found using points (-6,0) and (0,-2).

m=(y2 -y1)/(x2-x1) = (0-(-6))/(-2-0)= -3

m= -3

So,

y = mx+b -----> y= - 3x -2
