Two principles of good governance that help prevent corruption.
1) Ethical Conduct. This is part of a person's conscience wherein he puts public interest first before his own. In the event of conflict of interest, he'll report it beforehand and abstain from making decision regarding the issue. This is to ensure that the decision reached is made in a fair manner.
2) Openness and Transparency. Being open to the public, what decisions are made and how expenditures are made in every government or public project. Decisions and plans of actions are made in accordance of the rules of law.
