Communication will always involve two people—the sender and the receiver.  It is important to note that communication is not what the sender intends to be understood by receiver; communication is what the receiver understands of the information from the sender.  Thus, while communication does in fact involve the transfer of information, it is what the receiver believes is being sent that is where communication lies.
