Um so John Proctor from the crucible correct?
I'm gonna choose a character from a book that is like a true story okay.
A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier is a memoir written by Ishmael Beah.
So the character Ishmael is fleeing from where he is at because of rebels attacking his town. He flees with his brother and they fight some rebels and help others along the way. Ishmael is similar to John Proctor in a way because in the end John Proctor sacrifices his life to put an end to his wife's misery in a way he is courageous. Like Ishmael because at one point in the book he is about to get caught with his friends but he just stops and gives up(by getting caught) and ends up saving his friends. Along with saving himself. The differences in these characters one is a true story about a young boy being a soldier in his homeland and the other one is not so much true. Also John Proctor created his own mess by cheating on his wife with Abigail, unlike the boy who's homeland got invaded and he was innocent.
