Azul has 4 green pick and no orange picks. You add pick so that there are 2 orange picks for every 1 green pick. How many picks are there now?

12. Because 2 times 4 is 8. Plus the 4 from green picks so it’ll be 12

so what you want to do here is make an equation (this is the easiest way but there are other ways that are probably better of showing you the process)

so here the the equation

y : number of total picks

x : green picks

y = 2 x

this equation just means that there are two orange picks per green pick

so the answer would be

y = 2 (4)

y = 8

there are 8 picks in total!
