PLEASE ANSWER Why does Odysseus lie and say that he and his men are the victims of a shipwreck? He does not want the Cyclops to know who he is. He is trying to humiliate the Cyclops. He wants to protect his ship and the rest of the crew. He wants to capture the Cyclops and abduct him.
