We first find the L.C.M. of 6 and 9.

Since , [tex]6=2\times3[/tex] ; [tex]9=3\times3[/tex]

Then, [tex]\text{LCM (6,9)}=3\times3\times3=18[/tex]

But  he buys at least 100 of each type, then we recall the multiples of 18 to find the least number which is nearest to 100.

Multiples 18= [tex]18,36, 54,72,90,108,126,.....[/tex]

Here 1908 is the least number i.e. both more than 100 and nearest to 100.

Therefore, the least number of sheets of each type he might buy = 108
