Let us take the cost of the belt as ' x '

Then, the cost of the shoes would be ' 7x '

Cost of the shirt would be ' x + 45 '

Cost of belt + cost of shoes = 152

x + 7x = 152

8x = 152

x = 152 / 8

x = 19

Cost of belt = $19

cost of shirt = 19 + 45

= $64
