A nonlinear, realistic model of the scientific process is called the process of science. the core activity of this process is forming and testing hypotheses.
The process of science involves following skills- communicating, classifying, measuring, inferring, and predicting.
Scientists make progress by using the scientific method. After observing something, a scientist tries to explain what he has seen or observed. This explanation is called an hypothesis.
A nonlinear, realistic model of the scientific process is called the process of science. The core activity of this process is forming and testing a hypothesis.
The scientific method can be divided in a few different steps such as:
• Asking a Question
• Forming the hypothesis
• Testing the hypothesis with an experiment
• Analyzing data and drawing a conclusion.
