Respuesta :
On absorbing energy, an electron moves to an excited state (unstable state) from its ground state (stable state). Since the electron is in unstable state so it tends to rearrange itself to return to its lowest energy state. On returning to lowest energy state which is stable, it releases energy in the form of light.
Hence, option A that is the electron releases energy in the form of light on falling to lower energy state from excite state.
The electron falls to a lower energy level and that electron releases energy in the form of light.
What do you understand from excited state of energy level?
When any particle are present in the normal or ground state then they absorb some amount of energy and goes to the excited state with that additional energy.
Excited state of any particle is the unstable state and after duration of some time that particle will again come to the ground state by releasing that additional amount of energy in the form of light and gain the stable state.
Hence, option (A) is correct.
