Using sensory detail is an easy way to make your settings come alive for your reader. Instead of just stating where you are, or what you look like in a story, just describe your setting, etc.You have yo use your senses to connect the reader to the story.
Example of a sensory detail: The green grass, and the smell of fresh honey dew in the morning.
Or
The sand between my toes, and the sound of waves crashing into the sand is so peaceful.
