The gauge on a gas tank showed that the tank is 3/4 full. After traveling some distance, the gauge showed that the tank is 1/8 full. The tank was then filled to its full capacity by adding 16.8 gallons of gasoline.How many gallons of gasoline were in the tank when it was 3/4 full?

Now add this to the amount that was added to reach full gauge
