Yes, I agree with the historian. The picture clearly depicts a vision seemingly “head-butting” the figure. The figure, by falling backwards, indicates the sustaination of an injury. These pictures drawn on cave walls and trees were important to ancient peoples, as they were the only way to record their histories. They helped early people to communicate and understand lessons and their history. These drawings are important today as they help historians understand early peoples’ way of life and how that has helped to the development of humans today.
