Plz Help!! Re-read the passage Douglass writes after he fights with Mr. Covey. What does Douglass mean by, "however long I might remain a slave in form, the day has passed forever when I could be a slave in fact."

Respuesta :

"Form" relates to physical "form." "Fact" relates to the person themselves. Most likely (And this is without any other context. If this is not the right question, I'd recommend including the paragraph.) this piece means that Douglass may be a slave to someone, but he has freedoms and rights.
