Asteroids and comets have in common with only some aspects. Both, they are heavenly bodies which revolve around the sun. They can have an unexpected trajectory when they drift near to the earth or other planets. Both they are residues which are formed from things which remained after the formation of the solar system 4.5 billion years ago.
