Name of the book, article, website, or other resource, author of resource, info about the journal it came from, publish date, and when it was accessed.
Hello there!
When we are writing an assignment, we sometimes took some information from a book or the internet to support our point of view about the topic. So when you do citation, you are telling the reader that this sentence isn't my own but it supports my idea.
What information should be in a citation?
Well, I would say: The name of the book and the pages so that it is easier for the teacher to double check if it's right.
2) The name of the article. If you have a sentence from an article, you need to put that in your citation. It is a way to show that you are giving the credit to the right person.
3) You also wanna put the date on there and the year it was published.
4) Make sure you put the author
I hope this helps!
