From the story, it can be inferred that Ophelia was dutiful and polite. She did everything that was expected of her and had good behavior.

After the death of Polonius, her behavior changed. She was confused and acted strangely. She eventually ran mad which later resulted in her death.

This showed that the death of Polonius gas a negative impact on her.
