Poles... think about the North and South poles.... aren't they at the top and bottom of the Earth? The Prime Meridian isnt the answer because the Prime Meridian is 0 degrees longitude, and the Equator is 0 degrees latitude.

The marks that are on the top and bottom of the earth are poles, i.e. North Pole and South Pole.
