the answer would be D

because:

i couldn't find any examples of coordination in the sentance, so if there isnt any then there deffinatly isnt an excessive ammount.

I wouldnt say that there is an excessive ammount of subordination.

If the sentace has any slang ,it definatly doesnt have exessive slang

i would say that there arent enough independant clauses because the sentance is ok untill you get to te part where they add "for many of his novels were serialized". you sould be able to read the sentance without what is in the commas and it would make sence. but "...in order to meet his public's damands so he had to publish a new installment every week" doesnt make much sense at all.

i think this is right. but sorry if its not im jst in middle school and this is what i belive what it is
