Answer:
The first step of the water cycle is evaporation this is when the water at the surface of oceans, streams, or lakes (salt-water or fresh-water areas) and gets absorbed by the sun. (When the water obsorbs the heat from the sun). Second step is condensation which is as the water is vaporized into water vapor it rises up into the atmosphere and when the water is high up the vapor will turn into small particles of water because the temperature is low. It will then form clouds or fog. Step three is precipitation which is when it starts to rain, when the small droplets of water combine to make bigger drops of water. The fourth step is collection areas this is when water that falls from the clouds as rain, snow, hail, etc.. and collects in the oceans, rivers, lakes, streams. The fifth step is the runoff which is while water is pouring down all over the surface of the earth. Streams will form and they will lead to oceans, streams, or lakes.
