i would react as if i was holding on for dear life. Due to the massive amounts of unemployment ,there might be someone more qualified for my job that had gotten laid off which increases the stakes and competition since they most likely wouldn't care if the income was low since they don't currently have a steady one.i would focus on my needs first, spending my money wisely such as maybe not going for name brand/material items ,maybe even setting some money aside in case i do get fired like the majority of the people around me. In the end i think i would make the Rational Decision to stay low and try to get through this by saving money, spending less ,and being aware of my surroundings.
