Explanation:

This question is about the war of 1812-1815 that is known as “Second War for Independence" by the world but British remember this war as  when Napoleon marched to Moscow.

There were conflicts going on between Britain and America over three main issues:

  • Britain was not letting the farmers of US to trade with French.
  • Britain soldiers kept occupying the US territory despite Britain's promise that they will remove soldiers after the Paris treaty (1783).
  • Britain tried to stop American  ships and sailors from entering in their territory.

All these reason lead to the imitation of war between US and Britain from 1812 to 1815. It was the time Britain was also fighting a war with French that started from late 1700s and the early 1800s. Britain's first and vital opponent was French and they were trying to defeat them with all the power. Therefore, US won the war of 1812 with great victory when Britain put more power and efforts to win against French.
