Find the value of this fraction computation: 6(1/2 + 2/3 + 3/4)

Please show examples with distribution and without distribution. The sooner I can get an answer, the better. I need to submit this before midnight..

First you need to add all of the fractions together using a common denominator.

So we get 6(6/12+8/12+9/12)

By adding, we get 6(23/12)

Finally, we distribute the 6 and get 11.5
