ivan is painting the walls of his bedroom each of the walls have the same area. ivan buys a 6.8 pint can of paint. with the whole can of paint ivan is able to paint three walls and 2/5 of a fourth wall. how much paint in pints is needed for one wall?

3 2/5 = 3*5/5 + 2/5 = 17/5 = 3,4

6,8 pints  for 3.4 walls

x pints for 1 wall

x = (6,8*1)/3,4 = 2

The answer is two pints.
