FDR during his campaign running for president, promised a new deal for the American people. This new deal consisted that the power of federal government was required in order to get the country out of the depression so his proposal accounted to reform the banking laws, emergency and work relief programs and agricultural programs, Including union protection programs, Social Security and programs to aid tenant farmers and migrant workers.
