Answer;
Amino acids
Explanation;
To produce trypsin inhibitors plants must synthesize these proteins from amino acids,
- Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. Each protein is made up of different polypeptides or peptides that are made up of various amino acids.
- Protein synthesis takes place in the organelles called ribosomes which may be free floating in the nucleus or attached to the rough endoplasmic reticulum.
- The process of protein synthesis is called translation, and involves the interpretation or decoding of the information carried by the messenger RNA which carries the codes for each amino acids. The transfer RNA contains the anticodons which reads the codes and assembles amino acids creating polypeptides that forms proteins.
