Hello! First off lets fix those small spelling errors ;)

So the question you asked was "Which step in the Rock Cycle occurs immediately before sediments are laid down?"

How about we go over the cycle itself...

The Rock Cycle is a group of changes. Igneous rock can change into sedimentary rock or into metamorphic rock. Sedimentary rock can change into metamorphic rock or into igneous rock. Metamorphic rock can change into igneous or sedimentary rock.

One important thing you must always remember is that the cycle NEVER ends!

The step in which the rock cycle occurs immediately before sediments are laid down is during the weathering & movement area.

In the rock cycle, igneous, metamorphic and existing sedimentary rock can be transformed into new sedimentary rock. This occurs when weathering and erosion cause many small particles, called sediment, to be abraded from the surface of existing rocks laid down. This sediment can then be compacted and cemented to become new sedimentary rock. Hope this helps!
