W.E.B.Du Bois, primary organizer of the Exhibit of American Negroes at the 1900 World's Fair in Paris, challenged stereotypes by developing a multimedia presentation with photographs, books written and patents held by African-Americans, as well as charts outlining the demographics and economic situation of black people, as a rebuttal to representations of them as inherently inferior.
